I am looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to join a leading Aerospace corporation on full time and permanent basis. You will be responsible for the trade activity across multiple sites and ensure applicable company policies and Customs regulations are met. Experience in EU, UK and US Export Licensing and Controls, ITAR, BIS Regulation and International Cargo Security Certification is essential.   • Three direct reports and responsibility for multiple sites, supervise directly or indirectly, divisional import and export role-based specialists
  • Manage country specific AEO program.
  • Manage customs brokerage and customs facing forwarder processes.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and lead-time reduction.
  • Establish, monitor and support service provider performance against clearly defined KPIs/SOPs
  • Manage the Trade Compliance activities and requirements involving UK Importation, Exportation and International Cargo Security Programs, and Trade Automation processes on a global basis.
  • Ensure all applicable company policies and Customs regulations are met, while managing the expeditious and compliant flow of international trade.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external activities
Trade Compliance ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Years of extensive trade compliance experience
  • In-Depth knowledge of EU, UK and US Export licensing and controls, Tariff Classification, Valuation and Country of Origin Determination laws, Customs & International transport processes, Supply Chain Security programs.
  • ITAR and BIS Regulation experience.
  • International Cargo Security Certification experience.
  • Excellent computer skills  
  • SAP/GTS and JDE experience.
  • Ability to conduct training and present to large groups.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
