HR Officer (Part-time)

Location: Loughton, Essex

Salary: £27,000 per annum on 3 days per week

We are seeking a skilled HR Administrator to join our team and provide comprehensive support across the full employee lifecycle. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in HR practices and recruitment, looking to contribute to the growth and success of a well-respected business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including managing the recruitment inbox, liaising with agencies, advertising, candidate sourcing, assessments, and conducting initial interviews.
  • Maintain relationships with universities and local schools for graduate and apprentice recruitment.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, offering advice to staff and managers.
  • Handle employee relations cases and resolve HR issues in collaboration with the HR Manager.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support family-friendly matters, including associated paperwork.
  • Contribute to the annual performance management programme and various HR projects.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll and benefits reporting to the internal finance team.
  • Coordinate staff induction and manage the probation process effectively.
  • Cover for the HR Administrator as needed and undertake additional duties for the HR department’s efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and the MS Office Suite
