ICT Senior Analyst
Location: Lyndhurst(hybrid working)
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Friday
Salary: £38,928 to £41,895 per annum (pay award pending)
Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced ICT Senior Analyst, required by our client, based in the heart of the stunning New Forest National Park. The role offers one permanent full-time position.

What are we looking for?
As an ICT Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in improving our customer experience and reducing manual effort through the better use of technology and modern service design.
You'll be joining a team who are playing a pivotal role in helping our services with their digital transformation through the technical delivery and support of a variety of modern software platforms.
Working in a friendly and supportive team, we offer flexible hybrid working with a mixture of remote and on-site attendance to meet the demands of the projects.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform including Administration, Configuration Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), productivity apps.
- Experience supporting cloud and on-premise applications for 2nd and 3rd line support.
- Experience developing solutions on the Microsoft 365 Power Platform.
- Experience supporting SQL server and writing SQL queries.
- Experience working with data and integrating systems.
- Experience working on and technically leading projects.
- Knowledge of ITIL and Agile
- Broad understanding and an awareness of ITIL principles and practice, especially in the areas of Incidents, Problems and Changes.
- Proven experience of implementing and supporting ICT applications including a thorough grasp of the IT change lifecycle so as to develop and deliver functional improvements to applications.
- A good analytical ability to solve complex functional and technical problems.Ability to manage conflicting demands, resolve issues and meet set targets and deadlines.
Desirable:
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Evidence of continuing personal development in terms of IT technology and applications.
Main responsibilities
- Lead the support, enhancement, development and implementation of assigned NFDC applications, providing expert technical advice to the Council.
- Support our Digital Transformation programme and projects
- Work closely with all ICT teams to continuously support and improve applications through proactive planned activities and reactive requests.
- Design and implement IT solutions to enhance system performance and security.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related 2nd / 3rd line issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry.
