We’re recruiting a Senior ICT Analyst to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation based in the beautiful New Forest.This is a key role where you’ll lead the development, enhancement, and support of core business applications, ensuring they run smoothly and securely for daily operations. It’s a fantastic opportunity to drive innovation, lead system improvements, and support business-critical technologies.Key Responsibilities
  • Act as technical lead for key ICT applications, offering expert guidance on infrastructure, functionality, and security.
  • Drive continuous improvement using service data and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to manage system changes and implement robust fixes.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts, graduates, and apprentices to promote knowledge sharing and team development.
  • Produce monthly reports, maintain accurate system documentation, and contribute to business continuity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with ICT security and contribute to disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Maintain licensing and contract awareness for supported applications.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in supporting and developing ICT systems and applications.
  • Strong skills in SQL Server (or equivalent), reporting tools, and Excel.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles – particularly incident, problem, and change management.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Degree or relevant ICT qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
Desirable
  • Experience leading or supervising technical staff.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in ICT or related fields.
