TeacherActive are looking for TA / Teaching Assistant in Maesteg to work in a large Primary School. This will be a long-term placement starting as soon as possible.
We are looking for a TA / Teaching Assistant to cover a long-term placement supporting children in with their education. This is a great chance to gain abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.
The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:
- A minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
- A calm, patient and caring persona
- Good communication skills
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/ CCLD
It would be an added bonus if your Welsh Speaking, Sporty or very Musical! There will be opportunities to get involved with extra-curricular activities.
