Do you consider yourself to be an organised individual, with great communication skills? Are you able to work effectively to provide procedural reports and updates? If so, we are looking for an individual who would be interested in joining a UK EHS Commercial Manager. You will be responsible for a number of tasks from supporting issues or incidents, conducting reviews and chairing committee meetings.

The UK Commercial EHS Manager provides advice to all Management on the primary direction of the delivery of EHS support/services in a multi-division, multi-site operation to ensure that business objectives are set and met.

Responsibilities include:

  • The UK Commercial EHS Manager provides advice to all Management on the primary direction of the delivery of EHS support/services in a multi-division, multi-site operation to ensure that business objectives are set and met.
  • Manage Fleet Safety and responding to poor performance through the identification of appropriate actions and improvements
  • Act as primary contact for internal and external EHS Audits including response to audit requests, audit logistics and overseeing responses to any observations as a result of an audit.
  • Updating policies and procedures
  • Understands and analyses Corporate EHS Strategy and translates into meaningful strategies and goals UK Commercial divisions in
  • Acts as primary interface for the UK Business Advisory Council (UK BAC) on all matters pertaining to EHS including but not limited to, strategic plans, management responsibility, notification and responses to Serious Event, KPI Performance.
  • Collates EHS data for Commercial divisions and uploads into corporate systems in a timely and accurate manner.

Person Specification:

  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
  • Strong communication skills with availability to negotiate and present.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Technical understanding of EHS
  • Knowledge of the ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO50001 processes.
  • Self-motivated and highly proactive
  • Empathetic and strong problem solving skills
