About the role
Our client is offering an experienced individual to join their team as Senior quantity surveyor on highways maintenance schemes. As Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working on multiple projects across Kent, reporting into the commercial manager. The schemes involve the resurfacing, bridge improvements and drainage works. You will be on site 3 days a week, and working 2 days a week from home.
Responsibilities
- Making sure that liabilities are put on contractor payment management system as per subcontractor's application figures.
- Carry out site measurements or liaise with operations teams for assessing subcontractor's payment applications and final accounts.
- Responsible for cost Management of the Contract
- Responsibility for producing Accurate reporting (CVR / cash flow / forecast
Requirements
- Must have a good understanding of the NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
- a Bsc or equivalent in a relevant profession
- 8+ years experience
- Holding a valid UK Driving license
