Management Accountant

Your new companyA market leading Telecoms business in Manchester.Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparation and review of month-end results, including balance sheet control and P&L analysis. You will lead on product area result production and the first line of analysis and review, providing valuable support to the finance business partners. The role is key in understanding business performance and allowing the organisation to make informed decisions.You will also support and mentor the Assistant Management Accountants through their development and studies, providing you with an opportunity to hone your management experience for your future development. Through your work you will be responsible for identifying areas of process improvement and design improvements and ensure new processes are implemented that enhance controls, reduce manual intervention and drive departmental efficiencies.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a fully qualified accountant, with experience of a Management Accountant or Finance Manager role in a large and complex organisation. You will possess a 'can-do' attitude, with a high level of attention to detail, enabling the preparation of high-quality management accounts and insight into business performance. Strong Excel skills are a must for this role, as you will be providing lots of analysis as well as monthly reporting. You will also have strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
