Responsibilities:
- Proactively contacting customers regarding overdue payments and negotiating payment plans
- Assessing credit applications and making recommendations on credit limits
- Monitoring customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and payment statuses
- Generating reports on credit and collections performance for management review

Simpson Judge is currently working with a Professional service business based in Manchester City Centre. They are now recruiting an experienced Credit Controller to assist their close-knit finance team.

This is a permanent position with a hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: Up to £30,000

Roles/ Responsibilities

Proactively contacting customers regarding overdue payments and negotiating payment plans
Assessing credit applications and making recommendations on credit limits
Monitoring customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action
Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and payment statuses
Generating reports on credit and collections performance for management review
Continuously improving credit control processes to optimise efficiency and effectiveness

Skills/ Experience

At least 2 years Credit Control experience
Strong Communication skills
Background in Professional services is crucial - Consulting, Accountancy Practice or Legal
Excel skills- Vlookups and pivot tables is ideal
