An opportunity has arisen to join a welcoming and dynamic Primary School in Manchester. The position is a Key Stage 2 class teaching role, specifically in Year 4. This is a full-time and long-term position for 5 days per week. Working hours would be from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. You will be dedicated to providing a safe and happy classroom, where children are motivated to learn.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one ( we can help with this ).
  • PGCE & QTS.
  • Good knowledge and experience of the UK national curriculum.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Lesson planning to ensure the KS2 - Year 4 curriculum is met
  • Adapting to different ages and stages of learning
  • Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents and carers
  • Safeguarding children
  • Setting, marking and giving feedback on work/homework
