Manchester City Council are seeking a Discharge Administrator to work at Wythenshawe Hospital South Manchester on a full time, temporary basis.
Contract: Initially until 31/05/2024
Hours: 35 per week, 9-16:30

Manchester Local Care Organisation
The Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO) has been established to integrate, plan and manage community health and social care across the City.
The Hospital discharge to assess service was developed in 2020 in the wake of the pandemic. Three teams have been developed across Manchester centred around the three hospital sites. The service runs in partnership with our community-based discharge to assess and crisis teams as part of Manchester community response. The service supports the four discharge pathways from hospital offering a short-term strengths-based service to those requiring support.
The Role
As a Discharge Administrator you will work alongside our existing officer, to process referrals and send to the correct discharge pathway. You will be highly skilled in IT systems and be process driven. Due to the nature of the post, it is important that you can work dynamically under pressure and achieve good outcomes for our service users. You must have excellent communication skills to be able to work alongside and liaise with health and social care partners.
