Description
Accounts Assistant
- Ensure all employee expenses are checked, processed and posted to SAGE.
- Ensure corporate credit card statements are sent to the relevant employee
- Carry out bank reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Contribute to the improvement of financial procedures
- Work collaboratively with the accounting and finance team
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- An academic background in accounting, finance or related field
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- An ability to work effectively in a team
