Location: Unit C, Block B Larkfield Trading Estate, New Hythe Ln, Larkfield, Aylesford

Hours: 33 Hours Per Week

Shift Pattern: Wednesday 07:00am - 13:30pm
                       Thursday 07:00am -17:30pm
                       Friday 07:00am - 16:30pm
                       Saturday 07:00 - 15:30pm

Salary:  £22,429 Per Annum

WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER

Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first-class service with our team in Maidstone.

WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER DUTIES

• Reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor and Day Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing workload within the Returns department
• You will be required to organise and manage a team of Scanners and Loaders to process all returns on a daily basis through the branch ensuring targets and KPI’s are met
• You will ensure customer returns are processed in accordance with Company Procedures
• You will ensure a safe working environment to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations
• You will undertake additional duties together with associated responsibilities as may be requested by Management
• Responsible for overseeing and managing the returns department on a daily basis
• Accountable for managing staff training & development, absence & return to work interviews, conduct and performance
• Ensure Customer requirements are met in a timely, safe and efficient manner with the daily work loaded completed the same day

REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced approach to prioritisation of daily tasks
• A common-sense approach to problem-solving
• Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a pressurised environment
• Comfortable working to strict deadlines
• Great communication skills
