Position: SENCO Assistant

Location: New Malden, SW20

Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Duration: Temporary to Permanent Position


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide invaluable support to our SENCO in delivering effective provision for students with special educational needs.
• Assist students on a one-on-one basis in the classroom and support areas.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure students' individual needs are met.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach when working with students.
• Understanding of different types of special educational needs, particularly autism spectrum disorders.
