My busy Bilsthorpe based client are currently seeking experienced Production Quality Controller for their impressive, modern production facility with immediate effect.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quality checking all products.
  • Conducting a multitude of checks on products including, temperature, barcodes, weight, glass, etc..
  • Understanding the customers needs & specifications.
  • Analysing information to ensure all products are correct and to the highest quality.
  • Filling out and printing reports from Microsoft based software.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety procedures relevant to your working area.
  • All other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed:

  • Experience in a Quality or Technical role within the food industry is essential.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of working to BRC and retail customer standards would be ideal, but not essential.
  • Good multi-tasking skills and ensuring right first time culture.
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages.
  • A good understanding of English/Numeracy to understand production paperwork.
  • Reliable & good time management.
  • Team player.

This role is working 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving license and own transport; free on-site parking is available.

You will need to be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment.

The hourly rate ranges from £11.85 per hour, with time and a for overtime.

These roles are being offered on a permanent basis and so we are only looking to hear from candidates looking for long term work.
