Job Overview


As the Gas Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that their gas-related operations comply with all statutory regulations, industry standards, and best practices. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders to maintain a robust compliance performance management system.

Duties & Responsibilities


Developing and Managing Compliance Framework
- You’ll create and manage a comprehensive compliance framework that aligns with best practices and legal requirements. This includes overseeing compliance predominately in gas safety, as well as electrical systems, asbestos, legionella, fire safety, lifts, and other relevant areas.

Team Management:
- Lead a team responsible for implementing effective compliance across the organisation.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse compliance data and prepare complex reports. Contribute to compliance risk reports for board-level discussions.

Staying Current:
- Keep abreast of compliance best practices and legislative changes. Provide guidance to staff, contractors, and stakeholders on maintaining compliance standards.

Compliance Audits:
- Conduct compliance audits using internal and external resources. Ensure all performance targets are met and recommend necessary actions.

Qualification / Experience Required
Qualifications: A relevant degree or professional qualification in a related field (e.g., health and safety, engineering, or facilities management).
Experience: Significant experience in compliance management, particularly in gas safety. Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards in social housing.
