Are you an Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity with a family run progressive, dynamic and fast-paced Contractor?

Search Consultancy are excited to be working in partnership with one of the leading, Privately-owned construction businesses in the North of England. In a challenging economic climate this company is in an enviable financial position and has a growing pipeline of prestigious projects upcoming in the Northeast.

Due to this growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. You will be office based and in charge of a main client's account with the opportunity to grow this particular account.

Key Responsibilities
* Conducting cost estimates and budgeting for large-scale construction projects.
* Evaluating tenders and contracts to ensure financial feasibility.
* Monitoring project costs and variations to ensure adherence to budgets.
* Collaborating with project teams to optimize cost-efficiency.
* Performing risk analysis and providing valuable cost advice.
* Be able to work to schedule of rates.

What we're looking for;
* Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge and experience with maintenance, refurbishments and regeneration projects.
* Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in industry-standard software.
* Ambitious, resilient and conscientious individuals.
