Opportunity to join a growing, Malvern based Engineering company for a Stores Person / Buyer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement in both sourcing & direct purchasing of materials & stock.
The Role:
" Procurement of specialist parts & raising purchase orders
" Raising orders using SAGE
" Sourcing of components
" Location of stock, issuing shortages, stock counts etc.
" Forklift Truck Operating
" Interacting with production staff on daily needs and issues
" Working to teams KPI's to control processes and key materials
Skills required:
" Proven experience within a similar role
" Full, clean driving licence is essential
" Current Counterbalance forklift Truck licence
" Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
" Computer literate and numerate
In return, the successful Stores Person / Buyer will be offered a straight permanent contract, 39 hours per week across 07:30am to 16:30pm, Monday to Friday & 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
