We are in need of a production technician to join a long-standing manufacturer based in Newmarket, Suffolk. If you come from a background in manufacturing please get in touch!
The ideal candidate would be someone who has experience working in assembly or production and is skilled in working with hand and power tools.
The starting salary for this technician role is 11.50ph with overtime available at increased rates of pay. There will also be a pay review available subject to a successful probationary period.
Technician Duties include:
- Brazing of metal components together
- Prepping of metals before use
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Flexible approach to work to meet customer orders
- Completing assembly work and other production demands
The working hours for the role are 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 12:30 finish Friday!
Someone with experience in brazing would be ideal however prior experience in manufacturing or production will be considered.
