About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves delivering high-quality, customer-focused housing management services across a designated patch of properties. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring tenants are supported, properties are maintained, and tenancy agreements are upheld.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver a responsive and customer-focused housing management service across a designated area.

Assess tenant needs and make appropriate referrals to relevant support services.

Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.

Monitor and enforce tenancy and lease conditions, addressing breaches where necessary.

Investigate and manage incidents of anti-social behaviour.

Assist the Lettings Coordinator in achieving target re-let times for void properties.

Conduct property inspections to ensure they are maintained to a satisfactory standard.

Carry out pre-tenancy interviews with prospective tenants.

Organise, attend, and contribute to resident meetings, providing guidance and support.

Identify and act on safeguarding concerns, including domestic abuse, child protection, public protection, and the welfare of vulnerable adults.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all relevant databases.

Proven experience in a similar housing or tenancy management role.

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Enhanced DBS check.
