Harness Technician

£35,000 - £45,000 Per Annum
Harness Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of projects across the motorsport and automotive sector
- Manufacture motorsport and automotive electrical harnesses
- Work alongside and collaborate with the engineering team
- Provide support for harness and electrical system design development and build
- Responsible for builds of low and high voltage assemblies and enclosures
The ideal Harness Technician will have:
- Previous experience in automotive, motorsport or aerospace environment
- Previous experience with wiring harness manufacture
- The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and harness manufacturing drawings
- Must have experience with the following techniques: Wire wrapping/twisting, Moulded parts/ System 25 and Service loops
- Knowledge of connector systems, wire types, and sleeving
- The ability to work to automotive and/or motorsport wiring standards
