They are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly, non-corporate, family-run team. They are looking for a part time Bookkeeper, with experience of both the Property Industry and using Xero to join the team and manage:
• Rentman (software for Residential Sales, Lettings & Property Management), reconcile to the bank accounts and transfer the income to Xero
• Blocks Online (software for Residential Block Management) - produce annual service charge and ground rent demands, keep records of costs and invoices
• Manage Xero, reconcile to the bank account
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Manage Accounts sales and purchase ledges as well as accounts receivable and payables
• Deal with external Block contractors
• Attend block AGM's
• Maintain Companies House records
• Ensure all Accounts are filed on time
• Arrange relevant Insurances with brokers
• Maintain company utility and services contracts
The ideal candidate will be:
• AAT Qualified
• Knowledge of Xero preferred (minimum 2 years’ experience)
• Knowledge of Rentman/Blocks Online software beneficial but not essential
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills and telephone manner
• Competence of Excel, Word, and Outlook
