Company Accountant

Reed Accountancy and Finance Norwich are proud to be working exclusively with a Norwich based company to recruit for a Company Accountant to join this growing business to build and manage the finance function.
As the successful candidate will be working closely with the managing director, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance candidate with strong management accounting and reporting skills to join an exciting and growing business and play a fundamental part in its development.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Complete month-end processes and produce monthly Management Accounts.
- Prepare budgets and report on variances.
- Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank.
- Manage staff and contractor payroll, including monthly and weekly pension submissions.
- Submit quarterly Group VAT data to accountants, review, and process payments.
- Raise sales invoices and manage credit control.
- Assist in staff recruitment, management, and development as the company grows.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Process and pay supplier invoices.
- Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend actions.
- Continuously improve finance department processes to meet changing business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part or fully qualified accountant.
- Experience in management accounting.
- Payroll experience.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software.
