Your new companyThis company is a market leading financial services organisation with an international presence. This company is going from strength to strength and is looking to increase the existing finance team to support the function and allow great commercial value.Your new roleThe main purpose of this role will be to oversee a team of 7-8 Finance Business Partners and ensure the delivery of key financial information for senior leadership. You will be responsible for understanding the financial performance of various business units and working with senior leadership to identify areas of opportunity and risk, as well as the impact of transformation project activity. You will provide consolidated actuals and forecasts and draw actionable business insights. You will present back to key stakeholders on various cost bases and highlight key insights. You will take ownership of the development of the team and champion a strong performance culture, encouraging them to challenge the business where needed. In addition to this, there will be significant involvement in the development of various transformation and improvement projects across the organisation. This will be supported by another member of the team, but you will be expected to identify areas that can be streamlined and deliver great value. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week between Monday and Friday. Hybrid working is on offer for 50% of the time and the exact working pattern can be flexible for the right individual.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant and have significant experience working in a large and complex business. You will have excellent leadership skills and strong stakeholder management experience.
