Your new companyHighly regarded National Accountancy Firm seeking to hire into their Private Client Tax Team in Birmingham. This role has a focus on advisory work and will enable the successful individual to develop technically, working with entrepreneurial business owners and wealthy individuals in structuring their tax affairs efficiently. This is an opportunity which offers clear scope to gain exposure to varied advisory projects and genuine prospects for future progression.

Your new roleAs a Tax Senior or Assistant Manager in this team, you will work with direction from experienced managers and senior staff to provide tax advice to clients with regard to private wealth and business interests. This could involve corporate restructuring, demergers, sell-side deals work, family investment companies, residency matters and inheritance tax advice. You will build effective relationships with clients and will work in collaboration with colleagues within the business tax team and other areas of the wider business to provide excellent levels of service.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have gained exposure to some personal or corporate tax advisory work within a tax position in an accountancy firm and will be progressing well with professional tax or accountancy qualifications (ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA). As a minimum, you will be close to completing ATT, will have excellent technical tax capability, a positive attitude and a keen desire to develop your tax career. This would be an excellent move for an individual working within an independent firm seeking the chance to step up to a national practice or a tax professional within a large firm wanting a clear route to progress.
