Your new companyYou will be joining an established multi-sector contractor working on infrastructure schemes for various high-profile clients. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work across a multitude of sectors, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Estimator to join their team.

Your new roleYou will be responsible for, but not limited to, preparing estimates and tender submissions in line with tender enquiries and company procedures, obtaining/agreeing suitable material prices and hired plant rates for inclusion within the tenders, liaising with clients and the contracts department as well as maintaining good relationships with all parties and disseminating all necessary information promptly.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will be confident estimating from first principles and have understanding of Quantity Surveying. In addition, you will also understand the process of getting a project priced up, cost plans and understand the timings to get each process followed through. Finally, you will be an effective team player and communicator.
