Do you have a passion for accuracy and a desire to contribute to a supportive and dynamic team?An established company in Nottingham is seeking a talented Payroll Professional to join their friendly finance department!In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of their payroll operations.They're open to applications from both Payroll Managers and Payroll Administrators!About the Role:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll department (Manager role)
  • Support the Payroll Administrator in processing payroll (Administrator role)
  • Communicate effectively with clients via email and telephone
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls using Sage and other cloud-based software (training will be provided)
  • Register new payrolls and pension schemes (NHS knowledge desirable)
  • Issue clients with clear and accurate payroll reports
  • Ensure compliance with RTI (Real Time Information) regulations
  • Make submissions to pension providers
  • Resolve payroll-related queries promptly and efficiently
You'll be a great fit if you have:
  • 3+ years of experience in a payroll role (experience with a client/bureau background is a plus!)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential)
  • A willingness to learn new skills and software (Sage experience is a bonus, but not required)
