Production Manager

Westwood Recruitmentare looking for an experiencedProduction Manager, to lead a dedicated team of professionals in the servicing and mechanical assembly of new agricultural / ground care vehicles.

Your role would involve coordinating the intake of vehicles and liaising with our engineering departments to ensure seamless operations. You will oversee vehicle delivery, manage operational processes, and contribute to our engineering efforts, playing a key role in the continued success and growth of our business.

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (45 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of professionals in the servicing and mechanical assembly of vehicles
• Coordinate the intake of vehicles and ensure efficient workflow within the production department
• Liaise with engineering departments to address technical issues and ensure smooth operations
• Oversee vehicle delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of projects
• Manage operational processes to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Contribute to engineering efforts by providing insights and feedback from a production standpoint
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role
• A strong background in mechanical assembly or engineering
• A consistent employment history demonstrating reliability and dedication
• Must be able to drive
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• IT literate
• Previous experience in recreational / agricultural / ground care vehicles, (Preferred though not essential)
• An Engineering qualification, while not essential, would be advantageous
