Wedding & Events Bar Supervisor - Part Time

Cockliffe Country House are looking to recruit a Wedding & Events Bar Supervisor to run the evening events in our stunning, busy venue, where we host parties, weddings and other events across our 2 bars.

About the Role of Wedding & Events Bar Supervisor

We are a supportive and friendly team at Cockliffe, and are very proud of the culture we have created.

We are looking for a Wedding & Events Bar Supervisor to join us part time, to run the evening events and to manage the evening event team.

As Wedding & Events Bar Supervisor your main responsibilities would be;

  • Maintain a clean, tidy and efficient bar and stock room
  • Safe and secure handling of bar stock
  • Till operation
  • Supervise and actively be involved in bar service
  • Maintaining high levels of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards throughout the venue
  • Assisting the events team with food service and keeping things looking top notch throughout the evening.
  • Amazing customer service at all times, you are part of someone’s wedding/special day & will liaise directly with the wedding couple or party organiser, once the day event manager has handed over to you.
  • Working closely with the venue and event managers to ensure a smooth event delivery.
  • Managing and leading the team, ensuring safety and service for both guests and the team is a top priority.

Bar and supervisory experience needed although additional training will be given. Experience in a similar role would be preferred. A good knowledge of bar opening and closing procedures, cellar management and team management would be ideal.

Hours of Work

Your shifts will be varied according to the business needs, which will include mostly evening shifts on a rota basis, mainly Thursday to Sunday, 6pm till 1am.

You must be willing to work weekends as this is where the bulk of our events happen.

You MUST have your own transport as there is no bus route.

Cockliffe County House, Burntstump Country Park, Burntstump Hill, Nottingham, NG5 8PQ.
