We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our client's dynamic team. As an integral part of our organisation, you will be responsible for leading HR initiatives, providing guidance on policy and procedure, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.About the job:

  • Design and execute HR projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Provide expert support to managers and team leaders on all recruitment matters, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Offer advice and guidance on HR policy and procedures to managers, fostering a culture of compliance and fairness.
  • Stay abreast of UK employment legislation changes, ensuring company policies remain up to date and legally compliant.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, including redundancies and grievances, in line with best practice standards.
  • Oversee performance appraisal systems, facilitating continuous improvement and development.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including managing requests for maternity, paternity, and absence, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop and uphold HR policies, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organisation.
  • Implement and refine starter and leaver procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.

About the ideal candidate

  • Proven track record in HR generalist roles, demonstrating expertise across all areas of HR.
  • In-depth knowledge of current employment law and its practical application in the workplace.
  • Ability to work autonomously, making informed decisions and driving initiatives forward.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Exceptional planning and project management abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving positive change.
