Recruitment Coordinator

Full time, Permanent

Based on site 5 days per week

Must be located within the Shropshire area

Up to 36,000 DOE

The role holder will work closely with the HR Department to manage to the day to day recruitment activities for all employees, utilising different methods of sourcing including; internal campaigns, permanent recruitment and liaising with agencies. The role will have a key focus on establishing a positive atmosphere, and a quality candidate experience throughout.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the HR team and Site Manager to establish recruitment and skill requirements for site
  • Establish a recruitment pipeline through various channels of recruitment including Job Board screening and posting via Social Media
  • Liaise with Training Department to schedule and plan inductions, also assist in inductions
  • Organise and liaise with Production for any site visits
  • Establish a positive working relationship with preferred agency, advising of all vacancies and ensuring all paperwork is approved and passed to Payroll within agreed timeline
  • Provide support by arranging and assisting in interviews for any roles

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with managing the full recruitment cycle at volume - preferably within a blue collar environment - attracting and sourcing applicants, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, offers of employment, compliance and reference checks. Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment compliance
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment
  • To be able to positively contribute to the team and overall organisational dynamics and culture
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, in English Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise with varying stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Have a can-do attitude; willing to learn other tasks as required
