Support Officer

We are seekinga Support Officer in the Oxford area.

The role will be working for a leading support and care housing provider in Oxford. You will be part of the Domestic Abuse Service which currently operates contracts throughout Oxfordshire.

The service operates a refuge service which acts as a place of safety for victims of domestic abuse.

We are looking for flexible support officers who can work flexibly between ouroutreach,helpline,andrefugeservices.

Whilst the service generally operates standard business hours, the helpline is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, so flexibility is the key.

Contract: This is a temporary to permanent position with flexible shifts.

The right candidate will have experience working in supported housing, refuge services ordealing with distressed vulnerable service users. You will also have to have an understanding of managing safeguarding issues.

Full driving license and access to a car is required.
