Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer shall be responsible for managing electrical engineering projects from handover through to final completion, working remote and visiting customer sites in the critical power sector UK wide, mainly Midlands and below.
 
The Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer must have an electrical engineering background in project management, ideally within the UPS market or a technical electrical qualification such as 18th edition with experience working on complicated electrical systems, looking to progress in to a project role working remote and visiting customer sites UK wide, mainly Midlands and below.

Project Manager / Project Leader / Project Engineer Role
  • Managing electrical engineering projects from handover through to final completion.
  • Responsible for managing electrical engineering projects from handover through to final completion, working remote and visiting customer sites in the critical power sector UK wide, mainly Midlands and below.
  • The Project Manager will own the entire Project delivery relationship with important clients and through high level, highly proactive engagement will be constantly alert to opportunities to develop, improve and maintain that relationship.
  • Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery for installation of small to large Critical Power products working remote and visiting customer sites UK wide, mainly Midlands and below.
  • Perform consulting services at customer sites as well as over the phone.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments. 
Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer Requirements
  • Proven electrical engineering background in project management, ideally within the UPS market or a technical electrical qualification such as 18th edition with experience working on complicated electrical systems, looking to progress in to a project role.
  • Detailed knowledge of UPS Systems, uninterruptible power supplies, critical power, LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, generators, battery systems, power distribution or similar electrical engineering products.
  • Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Product Manager, Programme Manager, Applications Engineer, Project Leader, Electrical Project Manager, UPS Engineer or similar within the electrical engineering sector.
  • 18th Edition Electrical qualification is essential.
  • A technical electrical qualification or Degree, MP Certification, CAPM or Prince 2 project management qualifications are advantageous.
  • Fully remote, willing to travel UK wide and stay away when required.
  • Full UK driving license.
