Delighted to be recruiting for a 15 month long term contract for a People & Performance Manager. This person can be based in either London or Peterborough, 1 or 2 days a week. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a global business where you can strategically drive HR. Key Deliverables: 
  • Partner with senior management to set direction and drive an integrated medium- and long-term People & Performance Strategy and workforce planning to enable business performance, capability development and effectively support change management
  • Drive and support execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring effective change management, mitigating risks to change readiness and optimising resources, processes, roles, interfaces and ways of working to solve organisational effectiveness challenges
  • Enable and drive effective performance management, identifying and monitoring KPIs to track performance and influence to realise improvement
  • Enable and drive effective talent management, leading relevant and sustainable talent acquisition, talent management and retention strategies
  • Partner with line managers and Divisional L&D to develop a learning and development strategy and plan  to address business performance needs and competence gaps
  • Manage reward and remuneration plans in alignment with the Divisional Reward team and to enable performance and retention. Oversee the implementation of annual reward, remuneration and incentive processes
  • Responsible for mobility management 
  • Lead effective diversity management strategies and plans
  • Manage employee wellbeing, employee engagement and the employee value proposition
  • Coach and oversee line manager competence development of people processes
  • Ensure a harmonious employee relations climate to support productivity, resolving complex employee relations issues, addressing grievances and poor work performance incidents
  • Regular review and development of P&P policies and processes
The Right Candidate:  
  • Have experience of working in complex global business
  • Significant senior Human Resources Management experience in a large and complex organisation, including leading and influencing People levers
  • Impressive, demonstrable track record and skills (including ethics)/experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level
  • Strategic thinking and sound business acumen, with experience in developing strategy and associated transformation approach
  • Outstanding business partnering skills, able to partner and influence effectively at all levels, including Executive
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering HR Functional excellence
  • Extensive change management experience
  • Strong planning, organising and project management skills
  • Creative problem solver and the ability to make sound business decisions
  • Ability to work in a high-pressured environment, with a strong track record in delivering results and meeting business expectation
  • Experience working with global teams 
  • Sound Employee Relations experience, with a working knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Effective people and team management skills
