Site Quality EngineerLong Term Contract! Devonport, PlymouthWe are currently working with a nationally recognised Main contracting business who are in need of additional resource in the form of a Site Quality Engineer for a major long term project. You'll be ensuring that the works are performed and executed to the correct specification and within the expected quality and budgetary standards.Key duties & Responsibilities:You will be liaising closely with Site & Project Managers, client representatives and consultants and the wider site team to agree work parameters, update progress and advise of any issues whilst keeping everyone informed. You'll also carry out the following: Reviewing signed ITP Actions for each work package within the projectOrganising and communicating with the projects site team, and with the client team sign off Hold Points, Actions Document Reviews, and any ITP Interventions.Keeping thorough records and audit trail of all those persons involved in sign off and approval.Reviewing Index’s and ensuring sub-contractors provide all required documentation in advance of delivery to site for materials and for ongoing provision and sign off as work progress’s through to completion.Monitoring work package progress to ensure the whole team is aware of up and coming quality issues in relation to moving on to next stage.Your background: It is expected you'll be fully established within this role, with previous, demonstrable experience, ideally gained on MOD or Nuclear projects, You'll need excellent industry knowledge to include materials, labour, methods and legalities is essential as is the ability to communicate with a range of people and also a sound awareness of managing quality documentation for ITP's, LTQR and Quality plans.Some knowledge of risk management, or being trained to Internal or Lead auditor standard to ISO 9001 are advantageous. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, you will need to have a full right to work in the UK.
