ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Up to £45 per hour (possible extending by a further 6 months or move to a permanent role)
Plymouth - Hybrid (1 day in a week on-site).
A renowned name in the engineering and defense sectors is urgently looking for a ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR, to assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing pre-tender estimates, cost planning, and modelling design options. The company is an expert in managing complex infrastructure related to Defense, Nuclear, Military & Marine.
They're working at the forefront of the defense technology industry and this role would be responsible for reviewing and monitoring project costs, compile tenders, negotiate, and conduct commercial and subcontractor claim reviews.
Skills Required:
- NEC contracting experience preferred.
- Compile pre-tender infrastructure estimates and support tender compilation.
- Review subcontractor cost plans and align with baselines.
- Support commercial lead in contract negotiation.
