We have an outstanding team of Solicitors who are renowned for their expertise in Personal Injury, Employment Law, Foreign Injuries , Data Breach and even catastrophic events.We deal with very high personal injury cases and have grown steadily over the past few years. As a result of our success, we are now looking for an experienced Scottish Law Solicitor with experience of working in a fast paced, cost driven environment to join the senior management team.Responsibilities:Limitation reviews- daily and then the 3-month reviewsHandling Court Service EmailsIncoming court post to check for orders/issues such as strike outsDaily issue reviewsRunning a case load of personal Injury cases in Scotland, an interesting and complex mix of Fast Track and Multi track cases in RTA, EL/PL.Undertaking discussions and negotiations with Insured, Insurer and Third Party Solicitors to achieve rapid and appropriate settlements and apportionment of costs.Undertaking Court Telephone HearingsTimely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and management information systemsTo proactively review every fee earners caseload systematically, identifying cases that need to be worked on and setting out a plan, identifying cases that can be issued, where a medical can be instructed, identifying cases much earlier that are in some difficulty and identifying cases where we can make post issue offers of settlement to increase profit costsWorking with the Directors for the best interests of the businessCorrespondence and telephone callsReviewing filesPersonal Specification:4 years PQE in Scottish lawSenior experience in LitigationHigh level of experience running personal Injury caseloadsUp to date knowledge of Scottish lawExperience of running of own caseload of litigated filesAbility to manage time and work load in a high paced environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: Up to £50,000.00 per yearExpected hours: No more than 37.5 per weekBenefits:Additional leaveCompany eventsCompany pensionFlexitimeWork from homeSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsSupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeExperience:PQE solicitor: 4 years (required)Scottish Personal Injury law: 4 years (required)
