Accounts Assistant Vacancy - Motor Trade
Location: Preston
Salary: 25,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 08.30am - 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant for our clients site in the Preston area. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to work for a well-known Motor trade / Automotive company.

Role Responsibilities for Accounts Assistant
As an experienced Accounts Assistant you will be an integral member of the Accounts/Finance Team.

The successful applicant will work closely with the accounts team mainly looking after the sales ledger.

They will be required to:

- Inputting supplier invoices onto the system

- Obtaining manager approval.

- Reconciling statements and organising payments

- Processing daily banking and bank statements.

- Allocating customer receipts & chasing debts externally and internally.

- Ensure the smooth running of the account's office

We are looking for an experienced, professional individual with a keen eye for detail, accurate data input ability and excellent communication skills and telephone manner.

Requirements:
- Previous accounts experience required
- Previous motor industry experience desirable but not essential.
