Are you a qualified Primary School Teacher with a passion for inclusive education and a strong commitment to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Primary School Teacher and SENCo at a reputable primary school in the Rossendale Valley.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective primary education to students.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide targeted support to students with SEN, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
  • Liaise with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to ensure effective communication and support for SEN students.
  • Contribute to the school's overall SEN strategy and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education and attend relevant professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Primary School Teacher with relevant teaching qualifications.
  • SENCo qualification or substantial experience in SEN coordination.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
