Job Title: e-Commerce Operations Manager
Location: Ramsgate, Kent (must drive and have your own transport)
Salary: up to 55,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm

Role Summary:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient processes across order fulfilment, stock management and logistics. We are looking for an empathetic leader who is skilled at managing and empowering people from different walks of life to become the best versions of themselves each day.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Lead, manage and support the team with fulfilment, picking and packing, production and dispatch operations.
- Delegate tasks appropriately, matching workloads to skills and development needs.
- Oversee the e-commerce order cycle from purchase to delivery.
- Train new and existing staff on operational procedures, health and safety and other applicable procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers to maintain product availability.
- Ensure high levels of order accuracy with minimal errors.
- Work to improve speed and quality of fulfilment without compromising accuracy.
- Identify inefficiencies across warehouse and implement lean operational practices.
- Standardise SOPs and continuously review and refine them to support the scaling of the business.
- Track operational metrics and create weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Adapt your leadership style to individual's needs.
- Identify development needs and support individual growth through coaching and feedback.
- Pro-actively take steps to ensure a positive and productive environment.
- Encourage a strong team ethic and personal accountability.
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring a seamless post-purchase experience.
- Set clear individual and team KPIs aligned with business objectives.
- Work with the marketing team to forecast stock and labour demand and ensure operational readiness.
- Enforce safe working practices, correct use of equipment and cleanliness standards.
- Communicate clearly about delays, operational constraints and insights from the warehouse floor.
- Think critically about decisions to ensure "right first time" approach.
- Own the onboarding and training experience for new hires to ensure a smooth start.
- Any other responsibilities that may reasonably be required as part of the role.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- Demonstrate previous line management/leadership experience.
- Experience working in an e-commerce/warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of online retail processes.
- Positive, optimistic and personable attitude.
- Be punctual, organised and pro-active.
- Have a genuine desire to help people and do good.
- Maintain a high level of integrity.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing business environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
