About the role:

Our client, a leading organisation in the chemical industry, is seeking a skilled Process Chemist to join their Process Studies Group. This exciting contract role will focus on applying your expertise in physical organic chemistry to develop and enhance chemical processes for their products.

As a Process Chemist, you will work autonomously within a dynamic, cross-disciplinary team. Your main responsibilities will involve designing and conducting experiments to gain a deeper understanding of complex chemical processes. Your creative problem-solving skills will be instrumental in finding innovative and sustainable solutions to improve these processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing experiments to improve chemical processes
  • Gathering and interpreting quantitative chemical data
  • Applying creative solutions to solve process-related problems

What is the client looking for?

  • A Master's or PhD in chemical sciences, with a strong background in organic and/or physical chemistry
  • Comprehensive laboratory experience, including chemical analysis
  • Experience or interest in quantitative data analysis
  • An ability and drive to solve complex technical challenges
