Product Development Manager - Maternity Cover

IMMEDIATE START. Up to £21.97 per hour and guaranteed hybrid working! We're looking for an experienced Product Development Manager / Category Manager to join our industry-leading client based in Aldermaston to cover an approx 9 month maternity leave. Benefits to being the Product Development Manager / Category Manager:• Competitive salary of 30- 40k pro rata'd to approx 9 month maternity cover• Immediate start• Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break) and 9am - 4.30pm on a Friday (half an hour lunch break)• Weekly pay• 23 days annual leave (pro rata)• Guaranteed hybrid working• Free parking on-site• Friendly team and social events through the yearAs the Product Development Manager / Category Manager you will:• Liaise directly with vendor partners• Assist in the selection and purchasing of finished goods • Prepare quotations for the sales team• Manage SKU listings, creating, modifying and deleting categories • Maintain product costing sheets, reviewing margins ensuring target margin is being achieved• Set up competitor analysis processes and benchmarkingWho we are looking for:We are looking for a highly organised individual who can step into this critical role of liaising with vendors, managing portfolios and handling quotations. The ideal person should approach their work day with a positive attitude, should be able to work well under pressure and recognise the value of resilience.
