Our client are a leading UK manufacturer, distributor and exporter of household and health & beauty products. With two exceptional sites in the UK they're looking to keep growing their business with an important hire for a mixing supervisor.
What your duties will include:
- Full responsibility for mixing operations within the manufacturing facility
- Plan and coordinate the work of Mixers, ensuring that production schedules are met
- Take ownership of testing COD levels, Calibrating PH meter and Viscometer.
- Train new employees on mixing processes, procedures, and safety practices
- Examine samples of rejected products to determine cause of defect and recommend corrective action,
based on knowledge of ingredients
What we are looking for from you:
- Experience of working with manufacturing / production processes gained in an FMCG of similar environment
- Good technical understanding of supervising / leading a team
- Previous experience of working in a mixing environment in a similar position
- Understanding / knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality management systems
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure that all mixing processes are properly documented
