Depot Administrator

Quattro Plant Limited are looking for a depot administrator to work on a part time basis (Monday, Thursday and Friday) to support the sweeper hire desk in our Rochester Depot.  the successful candidate will support in the day-to-day office tasks associated with the running of the sweeper division.

Depot Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of calls whilst maintaining an agreed response rate and standard of professionalism
  • Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail,  orders and queries in a timely manner
  • Handle and log any Client feedback, raising it to the attention of Company management as appropriate
  • Provide a welcoming and efficient liaison service to Clients and internal staff
  • Keep all filing and clerical work up to date as directed
  • Handle correspondence, filing and record keeping with a high degree of accuracy
  • Be an ambassador for the Company to visitors
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality and environmental management
  • Ensure the proper use and care of equipment and materials used in the execution of the role
  • Ensure that all requirements relating to the supply of vehicles and equipment to municipal Clients are adhered to
  • Receive and record all enquiries, passing them to the appropriate person in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all errors, non-compliance and complaints are logged, raised and handled according to the requirements of the Company’s QMS system
  • Shadow sweeper hire desk duties including processing orders, contracts on syrinx, wages/invoicing.
  • Out of hours call cover as and when required. Normally alternate weekends and holiday cover.

Key Skills:

  • Able to perform all duties in a polite, efficient, professional and courteous manner
  • Excellent verbal, numeric and written skills
  • Fully skilled in basic Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to handle high call volumes efficiently
  • Self motivated, good attention to detail and tenacious
  • Maintains high personal standards and encourages them in others
  • Able to manage priorities and deliver on time
