CNC Machinist Operator/Setter - Essex

Up to £34k DOE Syntech Recruitment Solutions are looking for talented CNC Machinists (Operator/Setter) to join a thriving business near Southend Airport in Essex. Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment?This role is ideal for a hands-on individual who enjoys working with precision machinery and meeting tight deadlines. While strong operating skills are a must, the ability to learn setting and programming is a bonus. What You'll Do:

• Operate CNC machines (including tool adjustments, inspections, and measurements)
• Bonus: Learn CNC setting and programming (training provided)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong experience operating CNC machines (Fanuc experience a plus)
• Familiarity with Star SR20's, SE 30's, Doosan 1800Y, TNC42's, Hardinge HT 42's, and Moriseiki machines is beneficial
• Proficient in using measuring tools (mic's, verniers, gap gauges, plug gauges)
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A valid driving license is a plus (for commuting purposes)

• 4-day workweek! (Monday-Thursday, 6:45 am - 4:30 pm)
