Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Lead a team of Health & Safety professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Health & Safety practices into all aspects of the project.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and training sessions to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Health & Safety matters, liaising with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety role within the construction or highways sector.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with a track record of implementing effective Health & Safety initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
