Rapier Employment are working with a long-standing client, who are on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Manager on a permanent basis.

The main objective of the role will be to devise, lead and implement our clients digital strategy, to maximise product marketing opportunities and provide engaging digital platforms for each customer base. This will involve line managing of one other staff memeber and developing the team’s Digital Marketing Executive whilst working in conjunction with the wider team.

Key duties and responsibilities
  • Digital Strategy
    • Devise, lead and implement.
    • Based on identifying key digital opportunities that foster business growth
 
  • Sales Force Marketing Cloud – Customer Journey Automation Tool
    • Ensure usage is maximised by team and supports all aspects of the business – customer retention, recruitment and reawaken dormant customers, sales support and provide efficiencies to existing processes.
    • Integration with web/digital assets.
    • Regular analytics and reporting on impact of activities and ongoing learning to improve and enhance future activity.
 
  • SEO
  • Devise and implement an ongoing SEO strategy to support the promotion of the full product range and product launches.
  • SEO tactics to include technical back end work, back links, digital PR, and creative product related content.
  • Paid google/social media advertising.
  • Work, brief, monitor and assess RoI with 3rd parties where appropriate.
 
  • Websites
    • Oversee and action new web design, build (wide range of functionality including e commerce) & maintenance.
    • Ensure the website estate is fit for purpose and maximises all ‘silent salesmen opportunities’.
    • Keep optimised for SEO.
    • Integrate with Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
  • Social Media
    • Ensure strategy and content aligns with business objectives, including brand awareness, education of and creating demand for our products and services.
    • Increase following/engagement and impact of current channels.
 
  • Management Responsibilities
  • Provide line management, direction and support to the Digital Exec and ensure their outputs are maximised as required. All general line management responsibilities including appraisals, time off etc.
  • When appropriate brief in required support from external agencies, maintain working relationships and ensure RoI.
  • Timely data and reporting for Marketing Director and SLT (see below).
 
  • Legalities and reporting
  • Analyse ALL digital statistics (SFMC, Social media, website, SEO activity) on a regular basis, provide reports and intelligence to analyse success / failures, and importantly how we continually improve digital activity, based on the data.
  • Utilise all reporting tools /data to ensure reporting dashboards are comprehensive and can provide succinct, user friendly reports.
  • Set KPIs with Marketing Director.
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with current legislation/policies, GDPR, Cookie, Privacy etc across all platforms.
  • Work within budget.
Competitor research – stay alert to the industry and what is happening in the market and ‘what good looks like’ feed into team.

Other general duties as required by the Marketing team, supporting other team members during busy times, covering sickness and holidays etc.

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE WILL BE OFFICE BASED 5 DAYS A WEEK INTIALLY WITH THE OPTION OF HYBRID WORKING LATER DOWN THE LINE.

Hours 8:30am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday

Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
