I have a brilliant opportunity for qualified accountant to join a large organisation as their Deputy Head of Financial Reporting and Compliance on an interim basis for 12 months.

This is a real meaty role that someone can get their teeth stuck in to! It also has some great employee perks too!

What the role will involve:

  • Lead on a year end audit
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow actuals
  • Day to day management of the external audit and year-end statutory reporting process
  • Lead on the preparation of regulatory reporting, such as the annual financial statements and VAT return
  • Develop and manage partnerships with both external and internal stakeholders

What we're looking for in a candidate:

  • Has good knowledge and experience of various systems or ability to pick new ones up quickly
  • Qualified (at any level)
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft excel
  • Significant experience of managing internal and/or external audit processes and lead on it
