Your new roleYou will be reporting to the Head of HR and managing a small HR team.
The Head of HR is wanting to support your career (which will develop further) and mentor you whilst you operate independently, with a degree of autonomy.
You will manage a small HR team supporting the wider business with generalist HR services such as HR advisory, ER support, HR process support - to ensure the effective delivery of the HR services across the business, as the organisation continues to develop and grow.
You will be involved in the HR aspect of the growth of the business from acquisition/TUPE, alignment, policy & process review/improvement and projects.
This role will also involve coaching line managers and leaders to build their people management skills to enable them to be self-sufficient as HR is a progressive partnering service rather than "policing".
HR areas you will cover will include:
- HR advisory
- Employee Relations including case management and results
- HR/Employee Lifecycle administration and systems/processes
- Recruitment / Talent Acquisition
- Talent Management
- Change Management
- Acquisitions/TUPE
- DEI
- Other HR added value projects
You will also get involved in value added projects including Organisational Design / reorganisation; talent development, HR and HR system process improvements - all to ensure the business maintains a culture of continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner/ HR Manager with staff/departmental management skills to truly step up in their career and ultimately work up the HR career ladder.
What you'll need to succeedIdeally you will be minimum Level 5 CIPD qualified (or similar level experience level), with previous Business Partnering or HR Management experience - ideally from the service sector
Strong HR Advisory & ER/ Employment Law knowledge
Staff/team management experience
HR Project involvement/lead and roll out
Change management and continuous improvements.
Independent thinker and autonomous worker - but with team and collaborative approach.
IT and reporting skills.
