Are you experienced in customer service, sales or client account management? Do you have expertise within the logistics/freight/courier field?

My client specialises in shipping and logistics solutions, working with many major courier carriers. Their goal is to enhance the efficiency of their clients' supply chain, aiming to meet customer demand effectively and contribute positively to the client’s profitability. I am looking for a Logistics Customer Service & Telesales Agent to join this reputable company. This is an office-based role, working Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm.

  • Salary of £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and support, including general administrative duties
  • Supporting new and existing customers with their logistics needs 
  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to generate new leads
  • Quote pricing to customers
  • Manage bookings and arrange collections/deliveries
  • Engage in problem-solving activities

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or account management
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook
  • Experience using CRM/freight systems would be ideal
  • Pleasant telephone manner with a warm and sincere personality
  • Stable work history
  • Experience in Logistics, Shipping, or Freight is essential
